It's been a while....

I hope that everyone has been having a terrific school year. I am looking forward to some upcoming releases with Alfred Publishing, Northeastern Publications and Bandworks Publications. For the latest recordings of my pieces please check out my website and my YouTube page...there will be new recordings soon! I have been very lucky this year meeting and working with some amazing people! I am looking forward to some clinics this spring and some guest conducting appearances. Back 2 School

Welcome back to school! I am excited about this year's releases and looking forward to hearing from directors and students who may be performing some of my pieces. All of the released publications are available on JWPepper.com. Just search Bernotas (there aren't too many of us!) and they will appear with the recordings. I wish everyone a terrific school year!

Hello all...I mean the one person reading this (me). I received the professional recording of Mystic Voyage which is set to be released this spring. I am going to post it here and on my website soon. Thank you to Randy and Northeaster Music Publishing for putting this piece out there. I have been very fortunate so far in the band publishing world to have met and worked with some terrific people. Thank you to ALL of them! The next recording I am awaiting is Night Journey, from Daehn Publications :)

I received the new recordings (and final) from Alfred Publishing of Ride On and Ritual and have to say that I am amazed with the quality of the performance and production level. I am very lucky to be working with such terrific people. In addition to that I just received in the mail Night Journey, which is a new piece coming out this season by Daehn publishing. The recording session for them was yesterday and I am looking forward to hearing the results - I am sure it will be fantastic. I will try to keep the recordings up to date on the media player but if you ever want to check them out they are on my website as well.

See them? Most of the recordings are not by professional ensembles so you will hear a wrong note here or there, that is life! I think the band's that are performing have done a terrific job! Many of these pieces are not available yet and will be released in the next two years. If you are interested in any of them before their release please let me know. Enjoy! If you have a recording of one of my pieces that you would like me to post please send me a note!
